Lindy has been an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker for over 25 years and shares her time between Los Angeles and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Social Sciences (Media) degree with specializations in film, television and radio production; along with a Post-Graduate Degree in Arts, (Publishing and Editing). Lindy is passionate about creating heartfelt, insightful and inspirational documentaries that change the world. Her combined background in journalism, research, and psychotherapy bring a unique focus to all her programs. Lindy has won various awards for her documentaries and current affairs shows. These include the prestigious United Nations Media Peace Award for her documentary on Australia’s Port Arthur Massacre (and the resulting gun reform) and the National Youth Media Award for her documentary on a homeless teenager’s recovery from heroin addiction. Her most recent American documentary, ‘The Greatest Bond’ (which Lindy created, produced, wrote and directed), aired as a documentary special on the prestigious US television network PBS. The Greatest Bond is streaming now on PBS.org, Amazon Prime, Vudu, Apple TV in America, UK, Australia, Canada and Ireland.
